Baretta 92FS WIP

I decided to do a model of a Baretta 92FS, after being inspired by a rewatch of Lethal Weapon. I actually found images of the hero prop gun used in the movie, which then went and was used in Die Hard as well, so have been basing the wear and tear for the materials and model on that. I have been working on it for about a month now, just finished base materials and texturing and started on wear and tear today. It's been a real mission, never done a high poly detailed model like this, and although my topology is a mess, I am somehow making it work. Loving using SP to do the materials, haven't used any smart mats or anything, trying to do it all custom. This is my progress so far.

More added to the receiver. I added way to much detail I think, could have done the ridges on the slide in materials, though it wouldn't look as good I guess

After the UV unwrap. I ended up having to unwrap a few times as I found mistakes I had made while doing materials. Mainly leaving a face inside the trigger after applying the mirror, which was a huge headache

First pass of materials, most of these have been changed or updated as I learned to use Substance Painter

The grips took quite a while to do using height maps, normals and stencils for the logo. Really happy with them right now

This is as it stands right now, Just need engraving on the right side, and the clean materials are done, and I will start with the wear and tear etc
